Eat By Numbers: Greatest American Hot Dogs

When you dine out, you might think about the ingredients that go into your food, but you probably don’t think about all the numbers that make your meal happen. Restaurants are filled with interesting figures that might not be apparent when you bite into an enticing entrée or take a sip of a signature cocktail, but they’re all around you.
This week we track down MoCo food truck Greatest American Hot Dogs. Owner David Trachtenberg has an encyclopedic knowledge of regional dogs from around the country, which are lovingly recreated at his rolling tribute to the frankfurter with help from chef Emmanuel Ayissi. We find out just how many different dogs are on the menu, the number of buns they go through every month, and how many foods on a stick you can enjoy when you stop by.
